We had a great time with our granddaughters in the camper van, especially at the pool and playground. The restaurant is good enough that local people come for meals and special events. The staff are friendly and helpful. We’d definitely like to come back 😊

It’s an older campsite, but clean, and the market prices are fair for a campsite. I wouldn’t suggest it for backpackers, though. From the train station, you have to take a bus, and the closest stop is then a 10-minute walk along a busy road with no sidewalk. When I phoned the campsite, they hung up as soon as I started talking.

We stayed five nights in our campervan and wanted to add another night. They were flexible, and you can pick where to set up. The place is beautiful, the people are friendly, and the toilets were always clean. The shower was a bit too dark for me. The pool requires a swimming cap, and my daughter refused to wear one, so we had to go to the beach, which is only a 10-minute bike ride away.

Everyone was so friendly. Our taxi driver was supposed to take us to another campsite, but dropped us at the wrong place and left. The woman at reception tried hard to help us get moving, but it was late and there were no taxis or buses running. In the end, their own transfer driver, who was from Sicily, took us where we needed to go. I’m sorry I don’t know his name, but he was such a pleasant, down-to-earth gentleman to talk to.
