The welcome from Martina really set the tone at Tenuta La Ghiaia. She was warm and sincere, and made the tasting feel relaxed and friendly, more like being welcomed as guests than treated as customers. I loved the wines, especially the Vermentino, with Ithaa standing out as one of the best wine experiences of our time in Liguria. The focaccia was delicious too and went perfectly with the wine. The estate is beautiful, and you can tell there's real passion behind the hospitality and the wines. We highly recommend stopping by if you're exploring Sarzana and Colli di Luni. Thanks, Martina, for making the visit so special.

Tara, the manager, was the best part of our stay. She was welcoming, kind, and always willing to help. The pool was great, the food amazing, and we loved the vineyard and wines. I was there with my husband and our two little kids, and it was fantastic. We've traveled all over Europe, and this was the best place we've stayed. We'd give it 10 stars if we could. Thanks so much, we'll be back.

We were here for seven nights in August 24 with our two children. The apartment was spacious, had a lovely vineyard view, and a nice interior. Staff were helpful, especially Mr. Tharanga, who was experienced and motivated, and Ms. Camilla, who was attentive. The pool worked wonderfully for our two-year-old and for the adults too, and we appreciated the free bottles of water. The main problem was a wasp nest under the terrace table. On our first evening, two wasps stung our two-year-old son. Luckily he had no allergic reaction, but it ruined the evening. We asked the next morning for the nest to be removed. There were some smaller issues as well. The apartment photos on Booking and the property's own website showed a kitchen stove, but we were told it wasn't allowed to be used when we arrived. We wanted it for our small child, and the owner's suggestion was to pay for a meal for him instead. It was also extremely hot inside. I measured +33 on the inside of the walls. Maybe the building's insulation isn't very good. The three air conditioners ran around the clock and only brought it down to +30, while it was +36 outside. Some furniture needs repair, and the Wi-Fi signal was poor in the bedroom.
