La Vinia Bed&Wine Experience - Adults Only

La Vinia is tucked away, so having a car is essential. Alghero is about 20-30 minutes away, with its seaside setting, restaurants and bars, and there are several beaches nearby too. It was just right for a quiet break. Our room was bright and probably the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in, and the whole place was beautifully cared for. Matteo was a lovely host and made sure we had what we needed. The winery tasting was a real highlight, so book it if you stay here. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back.

The pool was lovely and peaceful, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning and a small fridge. Mateo also gave us useful tips for exploring the area. Be sure to visit the winery and try the wines. They have a long history and several awards, and make some wonderful wines from local grapes. We especially liked the Torbato, both sparkling and still, or “fermo” in Italian. We took home several bottles of the lovely white Centogeme. We had a great stay and would love to return.

Make sure you book the wine tasting, offered on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Mateo, the owner, was really helpful and shared lots of suggestions for the area. The rooms are modern, each with outdoor seating, and the pool area is relaxing. Breakfast had nice options, and it stayed quiet despite being close to the road.

The estate and vineyards around it are something special, and trying their own wines was a treat ;). We spent five nights here and had no complaints. The rooms were spotlessly clean and thoughtfully put together, while the garden and pool were kept in great shape, even with summer temperatures close to 40 degrees.
