That first trip to Italy, a week here back in 2022, was such a lovely introduction. The garden, wildlife, and views were beautiful. When I visited there was a hammock and ping pong table, and I loved sipping the Sanpellegrino they offered in the heat. The staff were amazing and made the service feel personal. There were fans in the room, and the pool had cute chairs for sunbathing or sitting in the shade while the kids swam. Breakfast was so good that I still haven't found one that matches it. Coming down to a long table full of bright fruit and different cakes made me feel like royalty. You really need a car to get here. I was with family who could drive and we'd rented one, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to go back on my own. The setting is beautiful, but accessibility keeps it from being a five-star location. The roads on the way are long and twisty, and we had to beep around corners because of the blind spots. Even with that, I'd highly recommend it.

We spent a quiet, relaxed week at this lovely residence in the hills of beautiful Tuscany. The pool was nice, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly.

It's well organised and a great place to stay when Tuscany is hot. I wouldn't call it an agriturismo, though. Just be ready to pay the city tax afterward, in cash.
