The room was okay, and the starter was really good, though the rest of the meal was just okay. The main course didn't match what we expected from a restaurant with reviews like these. Service was terrible. Before we arrived, we called to ask whether the receptionist could arrange a taxi, and she said she couldn't help. At check-in we waited around 15 minutes even though nobody else was there, while she looked at her screen. When we wanted an aperitivo outside, she handed us glasses and said she couldn't come out. The outdoor area was neglected. It seems this hotel benefits from earlier reviews.

Staying here felt like being a guest in Allesandra's home. She clearly takes pride in every detail of running the locanda, and the whole experience exceeded what I usually expect. I don't normally review hotel stays, but if you're traveling around Bologna or Florence and get the chance, I highly recommend staying here.

Dinner was one of our best meals in Italy, and the rooms were roomier than you'd expect in a typical European hotel. We stopped here during our drive to Florence. It's a perfect bed and breakfast, and I've recommended it to several people.

A lovely overnight stop for anyone doing the Degli Dei. This small Locanda sits in a beautiful, peaceful setting, with nice rooms and excellent food. The owner and staff gave us a wonderful welcome. Highly recommended.

Dinner here was really great. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice, and the surroundings beautiful. There's safe parking for the car, and it's very convenient for reaching the motorway.
