B&B Hotel Sassuolo

I didn’t feel safe around some of the other guests, and there was a cigarette smell in both the hallway and the lift. The room itself was dirty, including the walls, floor, and bathroom, and had a strange smell. I asked twice for a clean room; the third one was OK, though its badge didn’t work and I had to use a physical key. Never again.

The elevators need fixing, corporate. I spent five days here and the staff were great. Thanks to David, Laura, and of course the twins. I’d recommend this hotel B&B to anyone. I’m from Phoenix, Arizona.

The staff were very nice, and the room was clean. For a continental breakfast it was nice, though the protein choices were below par. The beds were comfortable, but the rooms felt unfinished and oddly undecorated; I had to borrow a bathroom stool to use as a nightstand. Fine for one night, but that’s about it. Outside, the grounds were overgrown and littered, with a septic smell at the entrance, and it’s not a well-kept part of town. Mo Pizza next door was very good for dinner.

We spent two weeks here, and the experience landed somewhere between good and bad. The rooms were small and not especially nice, but clean and had a fridge; the in-room safe didn’t work. We could hear the room opposite through the door. On one occasion, all three of us got trapped in the elevator and had to call for help. Breakfast was limited, particularly for vegetables, and the food was average, with mostly sweet choices. Parking was another problem: about five times we returned around 6 PM to find nowhere available and had to leave the car far away. The restaurant was really just a microwave for guests, with a few frozen meals for sale.
