Hotel Xbusiness

It's a new hotel with modern, roomy rooms, and the shower was a real highlight for me. It has a seat, a waterfall setting, and a rain shower. There are plenty of parking spaces, and it's close to the highway, about 30 minutes from the airport. I hope they keep the place in good shape over time. There are some drawbacks: the beds aren't comfortable, and breakfast was basic. When food ran out, they didn't bring more. The cleaner seemed impatient about cleaning the room and was already unlocking the door at 9, even though checkout was at 11, so keep the door locked. There's also a car dump next door, and they start early, which can be noisy.

The location is awful, out in the middle of nowhere. Even though the hotel only opened a few years ago, walking in, you'd think it was over 30 years old. It feels neglected, the rooms get worse with each stay, and the walls are dirty, as if nobody bothers to clean or paint them. The toilets in motorway rest stops are healthier than the bathroom in the room. On our last visit we arrived late and had to stay there, but we canceled the rest of our stay and moved to another hotel. Instead of apologizing, they respond to reviews with excuses that aren't true.

Please be careful booking here. They gave us their best room the first time, but on our second reservation the room was nowhere near the same quality, even though the price was the same. It wasn't clean, and the room and bathroom smelled like sewage. I wouldn't recommend staying here. To reply to the hotel: I asked to change rooms as soon as I walked in, not an hour later. I suggest the person responding to go into the bathroom and check the smell. We canceled the second night after a horrible stay.

The staff were really friendly and everything else was perfect. Just watch out for a crazy lady who drives around the property like a maniac. The Italian authorities should do something about it.
