The owners were friendly from the moment we arrived, and the large bathroom was perfect. The room itself was fairly spacious, with a mini-fridge, and they provided a crib for our nearly three-year-old. We stayed two days as two adults and a child. We’re used to adapting wherever we stay, and this is a detached house where the owners are also present and rent out one room. They didn’t cause any problems or inconvenience. Getting to the house means climbing 40-50 steps, so with a child and several suitcases you may need to go back and forth from the gate. We paid the full amount at check-in. I’m not sure why, but that was fine, we’re not about to run off 😊. The biggest issues for me were the missing TV, which I find unacceptable in 2024 if you need to spend time at the property, and the bedding. I think it hadn’t been changed since the previous guest, because the pillowcases smelled of their sweat. I took two pillows from the closet that seemed better. I didn’t say anything at the time because I didn’t want to cause an immediate problem, but it still wasn’t acceptable. I’d suggest putting a TV on the wall by the fridge. We only had breakfast once, when leaving. The day before, they kindly gave us takeaway bags with cookies, snacks, and fruit juice, which we appreciated. Breakfast the first day seemed better than the next. On the table were four single-serve toasts, three small jams, a small bottle of water, and a small bottle of fruit juice that was already a few days old. We were brought the cappuccino we asked for and a slice of chocolate cake, the kind made from a store-bought mix, also a few days old but edible. I asked for dry biscuits for the child, and they kindly brought some, but the pack had been open for a while and our child didn’t eat them. To us, breakfast was really meager and didn’t match the online photos. I wasn’t expecting a continental breakfast, but for €100 a night I expected a little more. It’s fine for a quick getaway, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than a few days. I hope I can revise this review in the future.

The room had a lovely garden and sea view, and I liked the decor. The place was clean, well kept, quiet, and welcoming, with very kind owners. Breakfast was included, with cake, juice, cappuccino, and water, and I thought the price was fair. I’ll most likely come back. The one inconvenience was having the bathroom outside the room. Also, bring your own water in the evening: the mini-fridge in the room isn’t stocked. I might want a drink at night or need to take medication, and that was a problem for me.

The sea view is amazing, and the hotel owners are incredibly welcoming. If you’re visiting Italy, you can go there without hesitation.

What a lovely sea view from the spotless rooms. This place feels like an oasis 🌳🕊️🌴🌸🌺🌻, with a kind couple offering great service at a good price. The terrace outside is beautiful, surrounded by olive and prickly pear trees, and the scent of Sicily is in the air. The simple Mediterranean style gives you a real energy boost. Indoors feels like another world, with an original, classic, elegant look that’s both unique and refined.
