The bar waiter was excellent, though the reception staff seemed uninterested. Both restaurants had limited menu choices. The rooms were older than I expected, smelled musty, and didn’t look like the photos. It is right by the beach, but the surroundings are ugly. For the price, I wouldn’t call this four-star, and there are much better options in nearby towns.

Our dog was as comfortable here as a person would be, and the hotel welcomes dogs. We had a great stay, with large rooms, tasty breakfast, and a restaurant overlooking the beach. There are two parking options: a free lot beside the hotel and an underground garage that costs extra.

We stopped for one night on our way from Spain to Italy. The hotel is well placed near Savona, and there’s a secure underground car park and two restaurants in the building. Breakfast was great, and there’s also a beach club during the summer. The staff were kind, which helped make up for the hotel and its facilities feeling a bit dated.

Breakfast was really good, and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching the sunset. I stayed for two nights. My room faced the street, right beside the main road, and it was very outdated. You might get lucky if you book an ocean-facing room. Parking beside the hotel is free, while the garage costs an extra 15 Euro.

The hotel felt very basic, and there was still a cigarette smell in the room. What bothered me most was the bartender’s service. She was a skinny, fair-skinned woman with very thin eyebrows, and her body odor was unbearable while she served us. Her attitude wasn’t pleasant either. Staff hygiene is important, and the hotel needs to manage that better. That’s why I’m giving one star.
