The apartment felt dated and wasn’t well equipped. The bed was old and uncomfortable, and the shower was tiny. The site says Florence is easy to reach by tram, but it’s still a 25-minute walk from the tram, so I wouldn’t stay here without a car. The night before our early flight, there was an unexpected family party at the pool that went on until 2AM. I wouldn’t recommend it. The price doesn’t match the quality.

We had a wonderful experience. The apartment was very clean, and the property has a well-kept exterior and a large green space. It’s just minutes from the center of Scandicci and suitable for guests with pets.

The owners are friendly and helpful, and make you feel at home. Cleaning is thorough, and there’s a lovely pool with umbrellas and loungers for everyone, plus an outdoor pergola where you can relax in the shade on hot days. Animals are around, including cats, dogs, geese, parrots, and peacocks, as well as a large aviary with pigeons and turtledoves. The different living areas can suit couples, families, or larger groups. This family-run agriturismo is a restored old farmhouse in a quiet, green area just steps from central Scandicci. It’s furnished in a minimalist, rustic style, with antique wooden furniture and all appliances, including a washing machine and drying rack. The details bring back the feel of old agricultural life. My only complaints are that some rooms are dark because the windows are small, and rooms beside the road can hear passing cars.

We were welcomed very warmly on our second stay at La Conca Verde. It’s ideally placed for visiting Tuscany. The pans need replacing, and a coffee maker for 5 people would be useful.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in this charming place. It’s a great base for seeing Tuscany and its art cities, and for unwinding by the pool in the late afternoon. Families would be well suited here. Highly recommended.
