The hostess and her family made us feel welcome from the start, and it was one of our best stays. There’s a large lobby with plenty of places to sit and lots of books for kids. Our rustic room was clean and well kept. In June, we didn’t see any mosquitoes. I was told they apparently don’t usually gather there because the town is above 1000m ASL, so we left the windows open at night for the fresh mountain air. Our family slept better than we had away from home in a long time. Breakfast was phenomenal: pineapple and orange juice, all kinds of fresh coffee, and pastries the hostess bakes herself every day. The coconut pound cake was my favorite. The hotel overlooks beautiful mountains and is close to the central square, with its restaurants and bars. We visited at the end of June, when some shops were closed, though plenty were still open. Scanno itself is picturesque and one of a kind. It’s a great value for a family and has a welcoming atmosphere.

We had a wonderful family weekend and I’d gladly return. The owner was kind, and breakfast was excellent and generous, with nothing to complain about. Our room was warm, clean, and spacious. The hotel is quiet and relaxing, just steps from the historic center and a few kilometers from the lake. Thank you for everything.

Floriana took care of all our needs and requests, and the staff were exceptionally courteous. The hotel has a friendly family atmosphere. It was recently renovated, though some work is still underway, with no inconvenience to guests. The rooms are welcoming and comfortable, and it’s conveniently placed for a walk into the city center.
