Giusy, the owner, was kind and helpful, which matters when you’re traveling with children. The beach is only a five-minute walk away, and parking is easy to access. The common areas are very well organized, so you get a good amount of privacy. It’s rare to find apartments that are this spacious, clean, well maintained, and so well equipped. Nothing was missing. I’d recommend it to families and couples alike: the apartment feels romantic and quaint. We’ll definitely be back!

Terre del Faro has a special feel thanks to Giusi, the young, enterprising heir to the company. She clearly loves her land and goes out of her way to look after guests, discreetly but generously. It’s a family-run farm producing organic peaches, oranges, oil, vegetables, wine, jams, and pickled vegetables. You can buy their products during your stay, which made our holiday even more memorable. The apartment was recently renovated, with a new bathroom and a huge shower, spacious comfortable bedrooms, and a kitchen with a microwave and washing machine. Outside there’s a relaxing area with a gazebo, table, chairs, and hammock, plus parking on the property. The nearest beach is less than a kilometer away, with both a public beach and beach service. Other beaches, including Policoro, are easy to reach. There are plenty of scenic and cultural places to explore too, such as Matera, about 40 minutes away, and the Amaro Lucano Museum, less than half an hour away.

We only spent two days at this beautiful property, but left hoping we can come back. Our room, Tiffany, was carefully designed, and Giusy even included samples of typical products she made herself. We chose the non-buffet breakfast and loved it: a croissant, cappuccino, and fabulous juice, enjoyed on the patio just outside our room. Giusy is exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. There’s plenty more I could say, but I’ll keep this short and invite you to visit. I’m sure you won’t regret it. Kudos to Giusy for the way she runs everything, and thanks again.

My daughter fell in love with the very affectionate dogs and cats, and we loved Giusy’s products. We had plenty at breakfast and bought some to take home. Giusy clearly loves her work, pays attention to every detail, and is warmly welcoming without being overbearing. It was a thoroughly enjoyable week in a peaceful place, close to the sea and lots of interesting places to visit. We were sorry to leave.
