We left after the first night because I got bitten by so many mosquitoes. We’re now at a different hotel in Sorrento, still enjoying our holiday, but itching like hell from the bites. When we arrived around 11 at night, nobody was there. Some men at a bar called around for us, and we managed to find a B&B a couple of miles up the road.

We’d booked and paid, but nobody was there when we arrived. After several attempts to get in touch with no response, we had to find somewhere else that evening.

The room and shared areas were dirty, and the breakfast was poor. This place is old, scruffy, and really uncomfortable. Covid rules weren’t followed on several occasions. I do NOT recommend staying here. Stay away.

There’s no restaurant or relaxation room, and the hotel itself is simple, with basic but clean rooms. The staff are very friendly. Lido Torre Oliva is very close, a small, pebbly beach that’s well equipped. It makes a good base for checking out the beaches and attractions in the area.
