The kids have plenty to do, from the indoor pool to the many play options, and most of the time they ended up playing together in the staffed kids club. We loved the spacious terrace, balcony, garden, and poolside spots for looking out over Meran. The hotel blends older character with modern South Tyrolean architecture, and the service was top notch. It's a cozy family place for skiing or hiking with kids at Meran 2000, or for enjoying sunny walks on the Waal trails in the mild climate. Breakfast has a well-chosen daily buffet, and dinner is lovely too, with regional South Tyrolean cooking. A warm recommendation for a few days away at Family Hotel Gutenberg.

The staff were friendly and helpful, which left a great impression on us. This is a family hotel centered around children, and our two little ones fit right in. Our room was a bit worn, though nothing serious, and the view was outstanding. We liked the wellness area, and the food was good too. We're definitely looking forward to coming back.

There are lovely hiking routes nearby, and the hotel is very welcoming to families. The service is top notch, and the people clearly know their work and enjoy it. The food is delicious, with a new, interesting menu to choose from each day.

The quiet mountain location above Merano was a real pleasure, and both our baby and toddler enjoyed the pool and the friendly staff. We had a lovely stay at Family Hotel Gutenberg. Thank you!
