I've stayed here twice now. The balcony, great view and very friendly host make it a really nice place, and the value for money is top-notch. The kitchen is the one letdown: there's hardly any cutlery, and no washing-up supplies.

The owners are nice, and there are lovely hiking trails nearby. We stayed in the Laugen apartment, which was well equipped, though there wasn't much tableware. Bring washing-up tablets, soap, dish liquid, a tea towel and a cloth. We knew beforehand that the main road would be noisy, but the traffic level was still a drawback. The room under the roof got very hot, so pull the blind down or it will be hard to sleep in the evening. We skipped breakfast, which suited us since we like to eat flexibly.

About a ten-minute drive from Merano, this is a quiet and welcoming place at a reasonable price. The bed is very large and comfortable, and the staff are kind and helpful, though they speak only a little Italian. The apartments are warm and inviting, with a small kitchen that has the necessary utensils, a dishwasher, a small fridge and a little electric stove. I highly recommend it.

The owners were very friendly, and the rooms were well furnished. There are lovely hiking trails around the area. The main road brings a lot of noise, though, and our attic room was very hot. It was hard to sleep with the window open because of the traffic.

We stayed at Klimaresidence Mittdorf at the start of September 2021 and were warmly welcomed. The staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome throughout the week. Everything was modern, clean and exceptionally well kept. Breakfast had everything you could ask for. We'll definitely come back!
