We had a wonderful stay at Michael Am Waal. The room was spotless and lovely, with a fantastic view, and the owners were warm and friendly. There’s a relaxing lounge, plus a heated swimming pool, whirlpool tub and sauna. We could also get breakfast for a small charge at the hotel next door, which has the same owner, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended.

The views are magnificent, and the location is outstanding. Markus is a very nice host. His sister hotel is close by, with a five-course menu and excellent service. One of the best hotels in South Tyrol.

We left with smiles and are sure to return. Staying at Michael am Wal felt like coming home, with an even lovelier view. Michael is sincere and warm, and always there if you need anything. The place is peaceful, thoughtfully put together, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. From the first moment, you can feel the heart and care that went into it.

The garden is a lovely place to spend time, with a whirlpool and sauna. The apartment itself is beautiful and modern, and the whole complex is very well maintained. I'd suggest having a car for reaching the place and exploring the area.
