Hotel Taushof

We never usually choose all-inclusive at other hotels, but at Taushof the meals are a real highlight. Fresh ingredients are skillfully prepared and combined, making each one feel special. The friendly, conscientious team are consistently attentive, polite, and professional, and we felt so welcome. This was our third trip from the UK. We've travelled via Innsbruck, Verona, and Milan, and each journey has been well worth it. Taushof is all beauty and quality, in a breathtaking spot partway up the mountain in Schena, looking across the valley and surrounding peaks. The pools, tennis courts, gardens, and whole hotel are kept immaculate. Beds, showers, chairs, and loungers are all designed for comfort and work really well. There's lots to do at the hotel and nearby, but it's also a pleasure to do nothing here. Thanks to everyone at Taushof for another wonderful holiday. We're looking forward to coming back, and next time we may try paragliding so we can see the place from above.

The food is tasty, nutritious, good quality, and plentiful. The whole place is spotless, and the views across the valley to the mountains are spectacular. It's my third visit to Taushof, and God willing, there'll be more. The staff, including the owner and his family, are so helpful, with a warm and reassuring presence. If you like walking, hiking, swimming, gardening, lidos, paragliding, tennis, cycling, or anything in between, you'll be very happy visiting this region. Tennis players get four well-maintained courts and a helpful, motivated in-house coach. Do check out the thermal baths in nearby spa town Merano, an oasis of well-being with outdoor pools and a garden in the Alpine landscape.
