We had the place to ourselves, which was lovely, though I imagine July and August are busier. It's a quiet, gated spot about a kilometer along an unpaved road, and the price was reasonable. There are five units for groups of two, three, or four. Since it's self-catering, bring supplies or plan on a 15-minute drive to Sciacca for food or a restaurant. A beach bar is about 2 km away and a pizza place there opens only in the early evening. You can reach a decent local beach on foot in ten minutes, or drive. The owners even brought us a small thank-you gift, a nice gesture.

The owner was full of useful local knowledge and happy to point us toward nearby sights. We had a wonderful week in a very comfortable apartment, and there's a gorgeous beach with clear water close by. Everything worked out perfectly, and we'd be glad to return.

The place was roomy and clean, and the basics were fine for the price. The description of the beach setup could be clearer, though: the so-called equipped beach only gives you an umbrella to use on the public beach.

The sea and lovely beach are close by, and the terrace has a stunning view. We stayed three weeks in August 2018, and the house was fantastic, set among olive and pine trees. The Montalbano family had taken care of every little detail. Adriana shared useful ideas for seeing Sciacca and finding places to eat. Mr. Montalbano was a delight too, and one morning he brought us cannoli. We'll definitely return.

The owners made us feel very welcome, and the accommodation was beautifully furnished. It's surrounded by thick greenery and magnificent olive trees, with sea views and a lovely beach just a three-minute walk away. I'd highly recommend it for a stay in the Sciacca area.
