Stefania and Rocco made us feel like friends by the time we left. They were welcoming, quick to answer messages and always respectful of our privacy. We had a fabulous extended stay at Il Rifugio della Quiete, with lovely countryside views and easy trips to Sicili, our favourite Baroque town, and Sampieri, our favourite beach. The house is light and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and plenty of places to sit. It was immaculate throughout, and the covered outdoor area was perfect for watching the evening sunset. We had everything we needed and really hope to return soon. Thank you, Stefania and Rocco, for such a wonderful stay in your lovely home. ❤️ Jennifer and Julian

The owners are friendly and ready to help if anything comes up. The property is beautifully furnished and well looked after, and it’s only a few minutes by car from both the sea and the city center. As the name suggests, this is a charming, peaceful spot. I highly recommend it.

I stayed at Rifugio della quiete with friends this winter. The house is spacious, with several bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it works well in any season thanks to the fireplace and air conditioning in every room. We especially liked the bright, roomy living area, where the large windows bring in lots of light. The countryside views are lovely, both from inside and from the big terrace. Although it’s surrounded by fields, Scicli is just a short drive away. I’ll definitely come back this summer.

Stefania and Rocco are special people, and their hospitality was superb. The house feels special too, and we’ve made it our little refuge whenever we come to Sicily. We’ve stayed twice already and will be back. It’s wonderfully peaceful, away from the chaos, and the owners have thought of every detail. Each visit has been enchanting. Thanks, and wait for us again! 🤗 Bruno and Daniela, Reggio Calabria
