Palazzo Favacchio - Patanè

The property has been restored nicely, and the staff were friendly. Inside, the rooms have lovely ceiling frescos. It's not far from a pedestrian thoroughfare, though the lane itself passes trash dumpsters, and there are no views. There aren't many places to stay in fresco.

The common rooms throughout the palazzo were a special touch, with coffee and tea and a romantic, old-world feel. Our room was quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable, and I loved looking up at the plaster doves in flight on the lofty, playfully painted ceiling while we rested after the long trip. We're here for three nights on our VBT bike tour along Sicily's east coast. The hotel has been beautifully restored. Ignacio at the front desk was attentive and showed is tour room at check-in. When I accidentally locked the in-room safe with numbers I didn't know, he sorted it out right away.

A real gem, renovated beautifully with care and quality details throughout. Everyone we dealt with was responsive and communicative, and the service and breakfast were great.

We'd happily return to Scicli and stay here again. The palazzo has been converted beautifully, and the rooms are spacious and lovely, with quality bathrooms and furniture and a comfortable bed. It's ideally placed near the old town, and the staff were quick to help with requests. My Name is Tannino, which we thought was the best restaurant in Scicli, is very close by. A couple of things to know: breakfast was fine, though more like 3* and with no hot food. There's no receptionist at the hotel, but you can reach staff on WhatsApp and they'll come over if you need something.
