The food was a real highlight: we had a delicious four-course dinner, full of authentic flavors and clearly made with care. Rachele was a kind and attentive host. La Tenuta Silvia in Seggiano is a rare find, tucked somewhere peaceful and wonderfully quiet, especially early in the morning. I’ll remember having coffee on the terrace as the sunrise lit up the hills. The rooms were spacious, spotless and beautifully decorated, each with a flower theme, from cheerful sunflowers to delicate roses and bright poppies. Everything felt personal and charming. The pool was stunning too, large and clean, with panoramic views that made it feel like floating above Tuscany.

The owners made us feel so welcome, and the villa itself has that lovely traditional Tuscan character. It was peaceful and surrounded by nature, well away from the crowds, just the kind of relaxing, charming place I was hoping to find. I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it for a Tuscan escape.

The host was really friendly, and the place has a nice pool and a great view. For the price it was okay, but that bed was terrible: very old and uncomfortable, and sleep is one of the most important parts of a stay. Breakfast was very small, and we had to ask for everything. No one checked whether things were going well or told us what was available. I'm pretty sure we weren't the first guests unhappy with the bed. The host never asked how we'd slept or whether everything was fine, either. That could definitely be improved.
