The wine was phenomenal, and we enjoyed the restaurant food. The server at dinner worked so hard and stayed really friendly despite the English-Italian language barrier. It was a super relaxing place.

We loved the scenery, the food and the people. Everyone was very kind and seemed to care a lot. It’s a beautiful little winery with places to stay nearby, and I can highly recommend it.

We spent nearly three hours on the beautiful terrace at Podere Montale, outside Montalcino. There are some great wines to enjoy, whether you sit in the sun or shade, and the countryside views are lovely. I’d recommend a visit to anyone.

Pietro was a gem. He explained the winery and its wines in excellent English, which really impressed us, then suggested nearby restaurants and helped us book one. We’re very grateful. It’s a lovely winery with a stunning view and great hospitality.

Try the appetizer and wine tasting at sunset. The countryside and mountains look spectacular from there, and the wine is delicious, especially the Chardonnay. A winery visit here is a must while in Tuscany.
