The roads in the area are surfaced, but lumpy, so allow plenty of time to drive. Angela and Enrico were welcoming and full of useful information. We chose to have meals during our stay, and they were superb. Angela explained the ingredients, so we learned quite a lot, and we came away with a few cooking tips along with enjoying Enrico’s excellent food.

Angela and Enrico cooked delicious, flavourful local meals that took our dietary needs into account. Their care for guests is wonderful, and they’re the best hosts we’ve ever had. They felt like friends we hadn’t met yet, and are reason enough to visit and stay.

Five years later, I still think about our honeymoon and why this inn was such a gem on our trip to Italy. Enrico and Angela made us feel welcome when we were nervous newlyweds on our first trip abroad. After they greeted us with delicious macchiato’s, we had a lovely rest in the Star and magic room. The towel warmer was a favorite little touch. Dinner was incredible. During one of the Boar themed meals, the food was so good it actually brought me to tears, though I never told the owners that at the time. Angela was also so encouraging while I tried to learn some basic Italian. I really did try, and I still say molto buono when something is very, very good. I spent a week here with friends and had a SUPERB vacation. The B&B was very clean and cozy, and Angela and Enrico were among the best hosts I’ve ever had. They’re clearly very committed to their work. Angela makes the best breakfast and cooks regional food with real passion. I already miss Enrico’s capuccino. Thank you both, I’ll definitely be back, hopefully soon!
