Hotel Carrara

Mrs. Carrara and her children were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We had a great family trip and came away with a positive experience.

I took 17 kids here for a sports retreat, and the food was so good that they ate dishes they’d have refused at home. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, even going along with all our whims. The building is beautiful, rustic outside and in some interior details, but renovated really well without losing its original character. The pool and the whole floor set aside for it are lovely, with two great shower rooms. I managed the six attic rooms on the fourth floor. Each one is unique and beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms aren’t huge, but they were very clean and tidy, and no smaller than those in many 4-star hotels in Romagna. I don’t understand some of the reviews. Either everything has changed, or perhaps they expected a 5-star experience at a 3-star price. I’ll definitely come back with my wife and 2 children for a relaxing weekend in April.

I booked a double room in the attic. It was clean, and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent too, with various yogurt flavors, milk, coffee, butter, different corn flakes, homemade cakes, croissants, fruit, assorted cold cuts, toast, and biscuits.

The pool and family feel made this a lovely place to switch off. It brought back memories of childhood holidays with my parents, staying full board. Just relax and forget about everyday life for a while.
