There are hiking trails nearby, and the place itself is quiet and lovely, tucked among the mountains. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade pastries, eggs, fruit, and more. They also have gluten-free bread for people with celiac disease.

The location is a real find, with chestnut and hazelnut trees around and a few lovely vineyards. Salerno is close enough to drive to and worth seeing. We also enjoyed exploring the area by car for the views and walks, though the trails were poorly marked and we had to turn back a few times. The country house looks beautiful and luxurious, and it’s clear a lot of care has gone into the design, safety, and upkeep. Sanjaya does a great job managing the day-to-day. The pool was clean, with loungers and parasols, and there were plenty of places to sit inside and outside. Coffee and tea were available to help yourself to, along with a fridge of soft drinks. We found the accommodation ideal for unwinding, with nothing much to fault. The breakfast music could perhaps be calmer, since it sometimes felt a little heavy for the morning, though musical taste is subjective. A great spot to relax for 2-3 days before carrying on with your journey.
We spent three nights here and had such a relaxing stay. The room, bathroom, and whole property were spotless, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was a good size, with lots of loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast wasn’t large, but everything was fresh and served individually. You’ll need a car to get around and explore. We’d happily recommend this place. Thanks so much for having us!
The rooms were modern and very clean, and the staff were nice. The pool was fantastic. The property seems to have been built in 2018, with lovely landscaping and olive trees around it. It’s tucked into the mountains, a little cooler than the coast, and every room has beautiful views of the surrounding hills. A hidden gem for a stop when heading south of Naples, or going inland from Amalfi toward Basilicata.
We stayed for five comfortable nights in early September and used the B and B Marale as a base to explore the area. There’s plenty of parking and a large pool with loungers. Breakfast was varied and generous, and our en suite room was spacious, very clean, and had a large, comfortable bed. The property was recently built and tastefully designed. Nearby, we booked a tour and wine tasting at Villa Raiano and Feudi Di San Gregorio. We also bought delicious pasta to take back to England from the local pasta maker Graziani.
