The spa and breakfast were both nice, and getting to St. Angelo is easy: it’s a five-minute walk along a pedestrian path, or you can take the shuttle. Our room was lovely, with air conditioning and a beautiful sea view. Just remember that the pool requires a swim cap. We had a very nice stay.

The pools were a highlight, with different sizes and temperatures, plenty of loungers, and great ocean views across the large property. We enjoyed two massages too. We booked that morning, which was our mistake, but the staff still fit us in. I’d book earlier next time. Half board worked really well for us. Breakfast had plenty of meats, cheeses, pastries, eggs, and cooked dishes, and dinner was tasty, with good choices for primi, secondi, and dessert. Lunch wasn’t included, but we especially enjoyed the house-smoked fish. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even finding us a spare converter for our electronics. I must have heard “buongiorno” a hundred times. It was a lovely, if too short, break to unwind, and we’d definitely return.

The rooms are a little old-fashioned, but charming and fully functional. Everything worked well, and we had a beautiful terrace. The flowers and the view really lifted our mood during our two-night stay. The thermal pools were amazing, the service outstanding, and the food delicious. Concetta gave me one of the best pedicures of my life. We’re happy with our stay and grateful to the gentle, attentive staff!

The loud behavior of some guests made this a less relaxing holiday than I’d hoped. A lot of people ignored the pool rules, were inconsiderate of others, and made plenty of noise. The rooms were also very noisy, and you could hear people talking or using the bathroom. Breakfast barely varied from day to day, with only two fruit choices, always the same ones. There were good parts too: the pools were clean and lovely, the view was nice, and dinner was very good. The staff were consistently friendly and ready to help, and you can walk to Sant Angelo. I can see the hotel and its staff did their best, which is why I’m still giving it four out of five.
