BB Trastevere Resort

I spend around 120 nights a year in hotels, so I have plenty to compare this with. The booking was straightforward, and when I asked for a particular bathroom setup because of my wife's needs, Marco sorted it out right away. The staff's service-minded attitude really stood out. I highly recommend staying here.

The room was clean and comfortable, and it's about a five-minute walk to Trastevere train station, with Testaccio's excellent restaurants close by. The hallway door system is a bit noisy, though it didn't bother me, and they provide earplugs.

The Colosseum room had comfortable beds, a tidy bathroom, and an air conditioner, which was essential. There was also a TV with Netflix and YouTube, plus croissants, cookies, marmalade, a coffee machine, and a kettle. The staff were especially friendly, and Giselle was so kind and courteous. They even left us a bottle of champagne, a lovely touch. We spent four days and three nights here at the end of August, and it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Trastevere is nearby for dinner, the railway station and two bus stops are close, and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the Pantheon or around 25 minutes to Vatican City. Thank you again. The reception staff were kind, and the gift basket was a real treat, with delicious croissants and other premium items. Our room was clean and cozy, with Roman architecture and paintings giving it a nice touch. Places to visit were just a 3-5 minute walk away, and public transport was only a minute away on foot. It felt economical for a stylish Rome vacation. We had a great stay and would love to return.
