Boschetto 124 Apartment

Fabio was a great host. He handed us the keys in person and showed us how things worked in the apartment, then helped with recommendations and tips. The apartment has two rooms with queen beds and closets, an equipped shower and toilet with soap, shampoo, conditioner and gas-heated hot water that doesn't really run out. There's also a living room with a sofa that opens up, so the apartment can host six people, plus a TV, washing machine, small kitchen, small fridge, electric stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and cutlery. The location is 11/10 for me. The apartment is just a few minutes' walk from the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia and other sights, most within 15-20 minutes on foot. The street is very quiet and has lots of restaurants and bars. CAVOUR metro station is five minutes away, and Via Nazionale, with many bus lines to the city center, is a seven-minute walk. Parking is difficult in this area. Don't bring a car unless you must, and pay attention to the ZTL region if you do. Taxis or public transport are the way to get in and out. We tried several places for breakfast, and 'La Licata' was the best. It gets a line, but is worth the wait. There are lots of other restaurants around, though most serve from midday through the end of the day rather than breakfast. Nothing to dislike, it was a great experience.

The apartment was immaculate, with large bedrooms, two great bathrooms, comfortable beds and extra towels. Our host communicated excellently, checking in to see if we needed anything, and gave us great restaurant suggestions and a map of local services. Thanks for leaving us those goodies too. It's a fantastic location on a beautiful street lined with lovely little boutiques and restaurants. Many sights are walkable, and the Colosseum is only 10 minutes away and looked stunning in the evenings. The train station, supermarket and awesome restaurants are close by. We absolutely loved our Rome stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

Via del Boschetto is a fairly quiet street, and the flat has everything needed in an interesting central area. Just about all the sights are easy to reach on foot, with a metro station five minutes away. We got a great welcome from an always accessible host. The rooms are spacious, the beds are good for getting a well-deserved night's sleep after a day out in Rome, and some basic items were provided on arrival.

What a delightful apartment, and such a hospitable host. We were spoiled with a welcome basket of plum cakes, juice, water, tea and coffee, plus basic cooking essentials. Attractions are 15 to 20 minutes away. We used Uber a lot and it wasn't too expensive. The Colosseum is the closest attraction, and there's a washing machine.
