Love of Rome

The place felt safe, and the bathroom and room were clean and well maintained. There was a locker, the wifi was strong, and we could walk to the Vatican. Restaurants and a bus stop are close by, and they gave us a map and explained the routes and buses. The breakfast was good, and the woman serving it was very kind and helpful. There wasn’t always someone at reception, but they replied quickly to messages. Finding the entrance was difficult because the sign is small and tucked into a corner. Luckily, a staff member was waiting outside. The lift barely fits three people, so I had to carry the stroller and bags up the two flights of stairs. The rooms weren’t soundproof, and the shared stairs weren’t very clean.

The owner was kind and helped us with a lot of what we needed, and the woman serving breakfast was especially lovely and helpful. She speaks fluent English. We stayed four nights in July. It’s more of a BnB than a hotel, and while it was okay, it wasn’t the best. The bus stop is right in front, so getting to the main city is easy. The Vatican is less than a 30-minute walk away. It could work well for someone on a budget who wants to see the city. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. The room was clean and fine, and they cleaned it almost every day. The bathroom is small and has no bathtub.

The service was nice, though the room could have been more comfortable. The location is great, about 30 minutes from the Vatican, and there’s a bus stop two minutes away. Buses to the center come regularly.

Our two-night stay was awful. The place was dirty, and on the second morning we woke up with bed bug bites. We saw bed bugs all over the wall in our room. When we described what happened on booking.com, they said we had never stayed there. So how did we get this video of bed bugs in your room?
