We spent one night here and it was awful. The whole house was so hot that nobody slept. The air conditioning had already been switched off, so we were told to turn the breaker on ourselves. It made no real difference, and the room temperature never seemed to change. Breakfast didn't make up for it, just sweet packaged food. At checkout, no one spoke even a little English, and neither the owner nor the staff member made any effort to translate. I wouldn't recommend staying here even for one night if you want proper sleep. In reply: Sir, my review isn't about whether you follow Italian law. It's about how you treat guests as a hotel owner. Your response makes it clear to me that you're a very bad host.

Domenike was especially kind, and we had a lovely stay in this charming spot. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge, tea, and herbal teas for the morning. Breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from and a small gluten-free selection. The air conditioning worked very well throughout the room. We'd definitely come back.

The receptionist area was wonderfully cool, but our room was sweltering. We arrived around 4 PM, when it was about 40 degrees outside, and the air conditioning had only just been switched on at check-in. It was weak, and we were told to wait. We left because the room was impossible to stay in, then came back after dinner to find it just as hot. We spent nearly the whole night awake, and there was nobody else in the building. We couldn't move the bed closer to the air conditioner because it was fixed to the wall. Opening the windows brought in mosquitoes since there were no screens. I had planned to work on my computer, but the room was too hot and unwelcoming. There was a desk, but no chair until I asked for one. The beds felt little better than camp beds, and there were no power outlets near the bedside tables. I took a quick breakfast by myself. My 12-year-old son had important musical commitments, and after that nearly sleepless night he went straight to them in a terrible mood. I asked to change rooms and was offered another one upstairs, which was also very hot. We turned on its air conditioning in the morning, hoping it would cool down during the day. The breakfast itself was very meager, just packaged croissants and toast. The woman who looked after the rooms and breakfast was very kind, but couldn't do anything. While I was moving our things, I ended up interpreting for the only other guest, who was checking out because nobody else there spoke English. The owner took care to ask my son's age for the tourist tax while I was still moving everything. A technician called to check the system said there was nothing to do for now, and suggested waiting to see if it improved around 3 PM, or trying to lower the outlet temperature. At about 3 PM, since I was still alone in the building, I called the contact number. They hung up the first time. On my second call I explained the situation, and a woman said she'd call back in five minutes. Instead she sent a WhatsApp message saying nothing could be done. I called again to say the situation was truly unpleasant and we had to leave and quickly find somewhere else. The reply I received said the maintenance team had found no problems and that the air conditioning worked throughout the building, with me as the only person complaining. It also said there was no regional or national rule requiring mosquito nets, and cited Regional Regulation 17/2023 and Legislative Decree 90/201 on recommended air-conditioning temperatures during heat waves: no more than 18°C (64°F) in industrial and artisanal buildings and 21°C (70°F) in other buildings. They said, as already explained at booking, I could leave, but there would be no cash or card refund for the reservation, and any future bookings would follow Booking.com cancellation policies. The message ended with kind regards and a good evening, signed Front Office Manager. They said I was the only one complaining, but I was also the only guest there.

We were passing through Florence, and my husband, our two daughters, and I stayed in room 6. It was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly, and the location was excellent. I'd highly recommend this B&B.

The owner was really kind and friendly, and our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is available as an extra. The location is the drawback: it's near the main road, which is hard to reach by public transport. Still, it's a very nice hotel, and I recommend it.
