Breakfast was excellent, better than I’ve had at other nearby hotels, and it exceeded what I expected for this category. The location is the hotel’s strongest point: just minutes from the Designer Outlet, with greenery, peace, and lovely nature views around it. My room smelled strongly of smoke, which was unpleasant. The mattress felt more like something from a 3-star hotel, even though the property presents itself as 4-star. The room and furniture also looked very dated and in need of renovation. I’d only recommend staying here if you smoke or aren’t sensitive to odors. Otherwise, I’d consider other places in the area.

The location is ideal, just a short walk from the outlet mall, and it seems especially convenient if you have a car. Women can shop while men enjoy golf! The staff were polite and helpful, and I liked the rooms’ quiet, clean feel and old-style charm. Breakfast was good, a solid B+. I really enjoyed my stay at Serravalle Golf Hotel and highly recommend it.

The rooms are really spacious, and the counter service was good. It felt like a quaint little country club, and the price was great compared with other places nearby. Getting there on foot takes around 20 minutes or possibly longer with luggage, so you’ll probably want to drive or take a cab.

The staff were generally nice and did their best, but the condition of the place was disappointing. The rooms and bathrooms are very old and need urgent attention. The toilet smelled of urine, and the seat had yellow stains. Furniture, doors, and floors were all extremely worn, and everything felt heavily used. Breakfast was average, and some of the fresh fruit had gone off. There’s a bicycle, which is a nice touch, but no one told us where to find the lock keys. The owner doesn’t seem interested in investing in the property, perhaps because of its proximity to the outlet and the guests it attracts. Next time we’ll stay at one of the local B&Bs, which are much nicer.
