Residence Villa Maria

We were sad to leave so soon after such a lovely stay. Ulli and her team made us feel at home, and we have no complaints. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and just right for two adults and a child. A bakery next door and a supermarket across the street were very handy. The ski lift is across the street too, so we could start and finish our winter sports there. There's a ski cellar with boot warmers, and parking right by the house. Thanks for a wonderful time!

The owners are wonderful, and they prepared a crib for our 10-month-old and a microwave at no extra charge when we asked. We spent three nights in the Malga Nemes apartment and had a great stay overall. Villa Maria sits on the main road between Moso and Sesto, but we didn't hear outside noise, and the bedroom at the back meant we slept peacefully. The property has seven apartments in different sizes, private parking, and a garden with a swing for younger guests. Trails to San Candido, the Fiscalina Valley, and Monte Croce di Comelico Pass start just steps away. Happacher bakery is next door, Martina pizzeria restaurant is opposite, and a small supermarket is only a few meters away. I still give Villa Maria five stars, though a few things could be better. The kitchen has no dishwasher or pantry, even though there seems to be room for one in the kitchen/living area. There are two cabinets in the bedroom, but that doesn't really solve it. The bed creaks at the slightest movement, and the pillows are incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom has a small wall-mounted hairdryer that only works while you hold down a button, which is extremely inconvenient and takes ages with long hair. The apartment is stylish and well furnished, but the low-quality cabinet above the toilet looks out of place.

We came for a hiking trip and found the apartment clean and tidy. The location is great, with a bakery, supermarket, bus stop, and restaurants all nearby. Lovely views of the Dolomites, too.
