The staff made our stay especially easy. They were all kind and helpful, gave us a free map, and explained what we needed to know about the city. We found the room comfortable and clean, and breakfast had enough variety to start the day well. Hotel Italia Siena is less than a ten-minute walk from the train station if you use the long escalator. The centre is about 2 km away, and we enjoyed the walk there. We had a great stay and would come back for either a short visit or a longer one.

The staff were great, and both breakfast and the location met expectations. Our room was neat and pleasant, but it felt small for two adults and two teenagers. The bed was very firm.

We had an executive room, which was perfectly fine but nothing memorable. The hotel was clean, and although our window faced the street, it was very well insulated. It took about 25 minutes to walk to the center. Parking was a bit of a gamble: there were only a few hotel spaces, so we left the car on a side street about a ten-minute walk away. Breakfast was okay for a three-star place, nothing special.

The rooms are clean and roomy, and the buffet breakfast was good. The staff were professional and pleasant, and the price was reasonable. It’s handy for visiting the city centre. Parking is the one drawback, since there aren’t many spaces, so it’s best to reserve one well ahead of your visit. There are other places to park nearby.

Working in #Siena, I keep coming back to #HotelItalia, a lively place across from the train and bus station. It’s an easy walk to #Palio Campo in the #historic old town, where there are plenty of #eclectic restaurants and #retail shops. My favorite part is the Italian #HappyHour, hosted by #LuisaStasi and her daughter #FlaminiaMasini. I meet #locals #TizianaGuerrini and #EugeniaGriccioli for a #Spritz and #small #plates, always with amazing #local meats and cheeses. #Siena #Italy has that #myconnection feeling for me. #TizianaGuerrini #EugeniaGriccioli #HappyHour #Hotel #Siena #LuisaStasi #FlaminiaMasini #happy #LuisaStasi
