Lorenzo and his staff were great about suggesting places to eat and things to do nearby. With a car, you’re also well placed for visiting medieval villages and other attractions. We booked the huge, charming house for my parents’ special birthday and had plenty of room for family dinners, games, and getting together. The Tuscan hills look like a painting from here, and the whole setting felt like a dream. It was a once-in-a-lifetime stay, and we’d come back with friends as soon as we can.

Lavinia was a wonderful host throughout. In the months before our wedding and while we were there, she helped with catering, arrangements, recommendations, and, most importantly, taxis. She was kind and welcoming, and made everything feel easy. We rented villa Santa Virginia at the Tenuta Larnianone estate for four days for an intimate wedding with 30 guests, and it worked out perfectly. The villa is quaint, clean, and full of Tuscan character. The views over the rolling hills made for beautiful photos, and our guests loved the place. We had a brilliant four days and would highly recommend it.

The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and we spent our evenings eating in the cosy corner by the kitchen and open fire. We also enjoyed walks nearby and visits to the surrounding towns and villages. The pool was very clean, and we swam even though the water felt a little cool at that time of year. Each family member had a separate bedroom with its own bathroom. The house had an original Tuscan style, and the view took our breath away when we arrived. We stayed at Villa Santa Virginia in the last week of October to celebrate my husband’s 85th birthday. The owners were helpful and acted quickly whenever we needed something, and the house was even cleaned midweek. A stay we’ll always remember. Thanks, Family Morfini.
