The beach is clean, well looked after, and reserved for guests. Its gentle slope into the Adriatic is great for kids. The entertainment suits families and stays low-key, which we appreciated, though you can't leave younger children with it for long. Nights can be noisy, so be prepared to keep Italian hours or ask for a spot away from the music kiosk. We stayed a few nights in a bungalow with our two kids. It was laid out so well that it felt roomier than it was, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The air conditioning worked perfectly, although we barely needed it. We also loved the patio and lawn for the kids to play on in the morning and afternoon. Bring what you'll need, including dish soap. The campsite supplies only some toilet paper, towels, and linen, though all of it was clean and well maintained. The grounds are very clean and cared for. Somehow they keep the mosquitoes almost entirely away, despite the area having lots of them and a big lake right in the middle. That made eating outside possible, which was a blessing. The restaurant is surprisingly good, even by Italian standards, and reasonably priced, so cooking for yourself isn't necessary. It's clearly set up for families and has the main things going for it. If I had to find a gripe, maybe the Wi-Fi was a bit shaky.

That quiet beach and direct access to the sea were lovely, and I really enjoyed walking around the campground. The little lake in the middle was great too. The food was DELICIOUS, and everyone on staff was so helpful and nice. The location is just perfect. I'll go again in summer.

The campsite looked empty, but they told us there were no bungalows or tents available, even though plenty of pitches were free. Maybe it's closed, but there's no notice saying so. I wondered if it was only for Italians.
