The sheets were synthetic and slid around whenever I moved. Even with the air conditioning on, they made me sweat at night. Cleanliness was poor, and the bathroom was tiny with nowhere to hang towels. The location itself was quite good, but breakfast let us down too: the croissants and biscuits weren't very good.

Getting there was unpleasant. The road is very busy and dangerous for children on foot, and the place wasn't clean. Its location was terrible.

Parking was hard to find, and on the last night we nearly got locked out because the main door wouldn't open. We ended up leaving a day before checkout. I stayed here in August 2022, and it was a terrible experience. The building's mezzanine-floor property felt dark and cramped. Cleaning was extremely poor: the trash can was dirty, the towels damp, and the colored synthetic sheets were stained and torn. The showerhead was broken, the wardrobe door faulty, and a hinge kept the bathroom door from opening properly. We couldn't flush toilet paper, and the water heater kept switching off mid-shower, so we had to go onto the terrace to clean up. Breakfast was poor, with only croissants that clearly weren't fresh. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

The property is beautiful and well located, but the cleanliness has some serious problems. The colorful synthetic sheets make it seem like they aren't changed between guests. And don't expect a decent coffee or cappuccino, they don't know how to make one here.

Eastern Sicily was easy to explore from this excellent location. We spent a week here, looked after by the very kind owners. Our room was welcoming and clean, and breakfast was excellent. Thank you so much.
