Stefano was responsive and very helpful, and the rooms were spotless. It’s also conveniently located near Isla de Ortigia and the train and bus stations. Definitely recommend.

We found the place easily, and everything we needed was within walking distance, with a bus stop just around the corner. It was clean, cozy, quiet, and just as described. The host replied quickly, let us leave our things in the shared area, and gave us great dinner recommendations. Perfect for a few days.

The booking had accidentally been made for two rooms instead of one. Stefano refunded the extra room and handled the whole thing with real grace and compassion. His service stood out: he was attentive and quick to reply even though his family was welcoming a new child around the time I arrived.

The place was very clean, and the towels were genuinely good quality, thick and soft. But I only stayed one of my two booked nights because I got ill, and I wouldn’t choose to stay again. It’s a four-room aparthotel setup with no proper kitchen, and locally you can get full apartments for similar money. The water cooler was awful. The water tasted like sewage. The 10:30 checkout is the earliest I’ve come across in years, and leaving 1 hour 45 minutes late cost another €20. The place felt cold and transactional. There’s basically no soundproofing, and road noise is extensive. When the hallway light came on, it woke me because a huge gap under the door lit up the room. Breakfast was abysmal, from a small bakery downstairs. When I handed over the voucher, the guy looked like a bulldog chewing wasps. Airbnb-style self-check-in without the facilities sums it up. It’s fine for a night or two, but I wouldn’t stay again.
