Claudia was so kind and gave us a list of restaurant options. We picked L'Ancora, which I highly recommend for its seafood. For breakfast, she had arranged a deal with a nearby bar to fit COVID rules: a drink and either a hot or savory breakfast. Don't miss the almond granita and brioche. The place has been renovated recently with great taste, and every part feels impeccable. It's near the Syracuse theater, and if you keep going along the main avenue, Piazza del Duomo in Ortigia is about 2 km away. Parking is easy to find nearby, with both free and paid options.

We were lucky to find a room for a couple of days in August, and brought one of our cats along. It was a welcoming place for our furry friend, and Claudia carefully followed all the anti-Covid rules. She registered us on the Sicilia SiCura app as soon as we arrived, though we'd already downloaded it because it was mandatory. The only option for drinks was to prepare them ourselves using single-serve, disposable pods. The B&B is a 15-minute walk from the Greek Theater and Ear of Dionysius. It's outside the center, but the spot is strategic, with lots of shops and services nearby, including Piazza Adda, and a parking lot where we left the car. Everything inside, from the furniture to the decorations, felt new and clean, and had been carefully put together. Claudia was a gracious, helpful, and consistently available host. She suggested places to visit and the best times to go, as well as places to eat based on our tastes and local specialties. We definitely recommend it and would return if we get the chance.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The place was spotless and immaculately looked after. It's conveniently about 2 km from Ortigia Island. I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying in Syracuse.

A pleasant terrace and fully equipped shared areas made this a comfortable stay. Our apartment in the building with three units was spacious and clean. Ortigia is a little way off, about a 15-20 minute walk, but street parking nearby was easy and free.
