Xenia B&B made a very good impression during my pleasant stay on August 6, 2024. It's directly on one of the main streets of the island, surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops, so the location is hard to beat if you want to be in the middle of everything. The value was good for the location and amenities. The room was clean and spacious enough to relax in, including on the balcony, and had all the basics for an overnight stay. The decor was lovingly done, playful in places but beautiful. Breakfast was extensive and delicious for a B&B, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't find any notable downsides. I'd recommend Xenia B&B in Syracuse, especially if you like central locations and thoughtful decor.

The owner was so unhelpful that after we said we were unhappy, she asked us to leave without giving us a full refund. I'm shocked by the low standards. Street noise came through almost completely, and the double bed was two single mattresses pushed together. The bathroom door also wouldn't shut properly. Stay only if you're looking for a bad experience.

The breakfast alone was probably the best we’ve ever had, and the room was just right too. We loved everything about staying here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone coming to Ortigia.
