Le Cave di Fontane Bianche

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and even the sofa bed worked well for our teenager, the third wheel. The owners were so welcoming and paid attention to the little details. On top of their great hospitality, breakfast was delicious and generous. We had an amazing stay.

The owners really looked after us, from the peaceful setting and the apartment's comfort to the thoughtful details everywhere. We also loved being close to a beautiful beach, which made it a great base for exploring the island. Breakfast was an experience in itself. Each morning brought a generous range of savory Sicilian specialties, juicy tomatoes and melanzanos, freshly made sandwiches full of local flavors, and plenty of sweet dishes. Everything was fresh and beautifully arranged. For my birthday, the owners surprised us with a celebration even though we hadn't told them it was coming up. They somehow found out, and that made the stay even more memorable. The apartment is on an estate with a pool and a quiet garden. There was an exceptional sage plant there, and it helped soothe the sore throat I got from overdoing it with Sicilian granitas, the refreshing local dessert. We had a fantastic time and would love to return. I recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Sicilian hospitality.

We were lucky to book one of the two semi-detached villas. They're modern and spacious, a lot like a high-end resort. The owners were friendly and communicated through Google Translate, and breakfast was excellent. It's a quiet, peaceful spot about a 30-minute drive from Syracuse, and I recommend it.

The hosts were unbelievable, and the breakfast was so good we never left hungry before heading out to sightsee. Our room overlooked the pool and was clean. Le Cave is in a safe, handy spot for exploring the southeast, and we had a perfect stay. A shelf or a few boards in the bedroom and bathroom would have been useful for storing our things. Even so, I absolutely recommend the place.
