Sunny House Wifi

We stayed here as a family of four in October this year and were very disappointed. The bathrooms were clean and nice, and the outdoor area was good, but there were serious problems throughout the property. A sewage smell spread through the place, with an issue in each bathroom. The floors were extremely dirty, with grime ingrained in the tiles, and the bamboo-style floor covering also seemed never to have been cleaned. The cot for our baby was filthy and its mattress was awful. Luckily, we'd brought our own bedding because it wasn't fit for use. The electric gate wiring was exposed at knee height, easy for children to reach and a major electrocution risk. Other things were broken or difficult to use: door handles came off when doors were shut, drawers were broken, the hob's ignition didn't work and we were given a tiny lighter, outside door locks didn't work, and the shutters jammed and had to be forced open. We were told the gardener would come very early on Saturday, but he arrived at 2pm while we were relaxing outside, so we were effectively forced indoors while he mowed the lawn. The gates were left wide open, and our toddler nearly ran down the road. Some outdoor furniture was also in poor shape. The owner seemed to have tried making pieces from old pallets and chipboard. They looked terrible, and the chipboard had split and splintered, leaving sharp raised edges that could cause painful injuries. The property sleeps six, but the living room only seats four, so a group of six may end up sitting on the dirty floor.
