Valle di Mare Resort

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they let us check out late without charging us. We appreciated that a lot. Special thanks to Marco, who looked after breakfast and was so nice and sharp. The food there was very good. The setting in the middle of a beautiful garden is lovely, with a generous swimming pool. The rooms were okay, though somewhat dated and without windows. Overall, a positive stay and a good option for relaxing near the beaches at Fontane Bianche. It may be a little overpriced, but it’s still a good choice.

Hospitality is about service and the culture of a country. Valle di Mare Country Resort showed disrespect and a lack of humanity. While Russians kill civilians and carry out energy terrorism around the world, they are not welcome in a country that respects freedom, culture, and kindness. Supporting Russians means supporting killings for gas and oil, and energy terror around the world. It’s shameful!

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff!

A car is essential here, though Syracuse, Noto, and Marzamemi are close by. At this time of year the town was already deserted, but there were still places to eat in the evening. We visited in the second week of October, when the sea was wonderfully warm and the pool was great for swimming, definitely better than the Baltic in summer :) It’s a quiet, peaceful resort with olive trees, delicious breakfasts, lots of space for the kids to run around, and plenty of parking. The beach is just a short walk through lovely surroundings, and it’s one of the nicest beaches in eastern Sicily. The owners were kind and easy to talk to. The only things I’d suggest are a small playground for children and refrigerators in the rooms. Everything was great, and I recommend it!!!
