Appartamento Faelmo Luxury

It's about a three-minute walk down the street to the lake, and you can see it from the balcony. The apartment sits in a quiet spot at the end of a campground. Getting to Sirmione's old town on foot takes about 40 minutes, and there's a bus stop roughly 100 meters up the street. The first restaurant opposite the apartment is highly recommended. On Monday mornings there's a nice market on the main street, though the traffic then goes past the bedroom on the side street. The owners were easy to reach on WhatsApp and quickly fixed a problem with the bathroom drain. The apartment was clean enough, though a draft stirred up a few bits of pollen, so it could have been cleaned better. The balcony also didn't seem ready for summer, with cobwebs and pollen covering the railing. One big thing to know is how tiny the shower is: about 60 by 80 cm, with the fittings taking up around 10 cm of that. A tall person or a woman with a larger bust might find it difficult to use. We booked for May, but our VW Passat wouldn't fit in the assigned underground parking space. Free parking was available about 150 meters down the road, and the spaces in front of the building had time limits. The apartment was nice, though we wouldn't call it luxurious. We had a great vacation, but wouldn't book it again. We can't say anything about the pool since it was still closed in May.
