Hotel Lugana Parco Al Lago

There’s a lovely place for an evening stroll right by the hotel. Follow the lakeside promenade toward the church and you’ll find a great spot to enjoy the evening. The hotel itself is clean and cozy, with a relaxing atmosphere, and some rooms look out over Lake Garda. The Old Town and the charm of Sirmione are only about 5-6 km away. Highly recommended.

The team were consistently polite, attentive and helpful with questions about the area, and our room was cleaned every day. The grounds are a real treat, with a little park, pool, loungers, benches and a private pier right on the lake. The restaurant looks out over the water, and morning coffee there in the cool lake breeze was lovely. Guests also get a large free parking area. Our room was spacious and clean, with the things we needed for a short stay: working AC and refrigerator, a hair dryer, and manual night shades that blocked the morning sun and some outside noise. The hotel is quiet and cozy, with relatively few guests, so I’d recommend it for a relaxing stay. The rooms could use a refresh, though, as there were some cracks, dents and small defects, and they seemed due for repainting. The restaurant food was good, but its offering was a bit disappointing. Breakfast felt repetitive, and the daily menu was limited. I was also surprised hotel guests still had to pay the „coperto” surcharge. From a guest's point of view, that felt a little excessive.

Easy enough to reach by bus from Verona. The lakeside cafe has wonderful views, and there’s a restaurant open in the evenings. The patisserie is incredible, and some of its pastries are served with the continental breakfast. A wonderful hotel by the lake.

We came back last April for a second visit, mainly because we enjoyed the hotel restaurant. It serves good food and has a magnificent wine selection. The location is also very good, with beautiful views of Lake Garda. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Sirmione or Lake Garda.
