Cangrande

The clean linen and towels were the one reassuring part of the room. The bathroom was fairly clean, though dated, and several fixtures were loose or coming apart. The room itself was extremely dirty, and the pillows and mattresses had a strong smell of sweat and other unpleasant things. When I mentioned it at reception, they said everything was clean and that the smell was “normal,” which was disappointing. Breakfast was decent for an Italian hotel, but nothing special. The hotel is handy if you’re passing through, since it’s very close to the Milan–Venice highway, but it’s outdated and noticeably unclean. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Andrea and Franka made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The reception was lovely, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful with everything. Thanks for the warm welcome and your time. I’d definitely come back, and I recommend this hotel.

It was stifling in the room, and the ventilation wasn’t working. On top of that, the toilet was dirty when we arrived. Avoid this place if you can.

The service was just okay, but the food was really bad, dry and unpleasant tasting. There wasn’t even a trash can in our room, so we had to carry the garbage outside.
