San Carlo Appartamenti vacanze

We were so impressed by how welcoming the owners were. They were friendly, easy to communicate with, and incredibly hospitable. Lake Garda is close by, and we’d love to return. We highly recommend staying here.

Luisa and her family welcomed us with such warmth, then treated us to lovely things from their organic garden. Even in the middle of summer, the apartment stayed cool, and the antique furniture gives it a lot of style. We slept behind those thick 17th-century walls and spent time on the terrace in the shade of 100-year-old cedars. It felt miles away from the fully air-conditioned tourist traps. The village setting, right on the main road and opposite the church, may not suit everyone. We got used to it quickly, though, and once the doors and windows were shut at night, we could hardly hear anything. The church bells have a really lovely, warm sound. “A holiday with friends” might sound like a cliché, but it fits this place perfectly. If you want to stay away from the tourist crowds at Lake Garda, this is a real gem.

There’s uncovered parking inside the property. The apartment itself is spacious, lovely, and clean, and the welcome was very kind.

A really cool, authentic apartment in a villa!
