Our flight was canceled, so at 19:00 we suddenly needed somewhere for the family to stay. The hosts were quick to respond and really helpful. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a restful night, even things for our baby. Another family stranded from our flight booked too, and we were all glad to find a comfortable place close to MXP. Taxis can be unreliable and expensive, so we recommend the car service. The house is beautiful, cozy, clean and neat, with everything you need. Arianna and her husband were great hosts, and the place is close to both the airport and the city. We definitely recommend La Casetta and plan to return.
It's close to MXP airport, but way off the map. Our taxi driver couldn't find it, and we almost missed our flight. The room felt like an extra room in someone's backyard, and it was very dark. There were exposed Spanish ceiling tiles and tons of biting 🦟 mosquitos inside. Everything in the room had a price tag, including the yogurt and juices in the fridge. We didn't touch anything, and covered the basket of chips and cookies.
The room had the little personal details I appreciated, and it still had all the essentials. Arianna was warm and easy to deal with. Check-in was self-service, with clear, simple directions, and the airport is only about a five-minute shuttle ride away. They provide free airport transport.
Everything was neat and tidy, and the airport is very close, which made it handy for a night. Breakfast came in individual plastic packages, except for the banana. The air conditioning was a bit loud. Fine for one night.
