Gloriette Guesthouse

We loved the view from every direction at Gloriette Boutique Hotel, where we stayed in the Deluxe Suite. The pool was the highlight: spotless, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Dinner staff handled my picky-eater request well, and both the food and cocktails were delicious. The vintage-style decor gave the hotel a cozy, distinctive feel. A few things could be better. Some staff felt disengaged, with little eye contact or warmth, so parts of the stay felt impersonal. The hotel says it's dog-friendly, but there was no water station, no bowl offered at meals, and no treats for our dog. We would have liked a few signs that dogs were welcome too. Breakfast tasted good, but was exactly the same every morning, so some variety would help. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location, and we'd return. A few thoughtful touches would make the experience better.

The rooftop infinity pool overlooking the Dolomites was the standout, an unforgettable view to end a luxurious stay. The whole hotel is carefully designed, even the stairways. Staff were attentive and friendly, and the food looked as good as it tasted, with every dish feeling chef-made. From arrival onward, the experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

The wellness spa for guests was so tranquil, especially the infinity pool, and the views were spectacular. Beautiful accommodation and excellent breakfast too. I would happily stay here again and again. There was one problem in our room: a very strong smell like spilled perfume or cologne. We left the windows open for ages, but it never went away. We mentioned it to staff and they didn't really respond or do anything. We could have pushed harder, but everything else was so nice that we put up with it. I don't know if it was an air freshener or a previous guest's spill. Other guests said they hadn't noticed a smell in their rooms, so it may have been a one-off. The hotel was lovely enough to make up for it.

The staff were thoughtful and kind throughout, going out of their way to make our stay feel special. Our room was spotless and full of charming vintage pieces, and the views were stunning. Meals were impeccable, with just-right portions. This was easily one of the best hotels we've stayed in, and we can't wait to come back.
