I called to ask for a quote for a summer stay. A woman answered the landline but didn’t speak Italian, and it took about fifteen minutes before I could explain myself and get another number. She gave me a mobile number for a woman, whose name I’ll leave out for privacy, who I assume is the owner. When I called, a man picked up. I was confused since I’d been given a woman’s number, but I asked about the quote anyway. He said they’re closed in summer. I asked specifically about July and he said yes, they’re closed then. After that, he suggested that maybe they could arrange something if we took a room without breakfast or anything else. He hadn’t asked what dates we wanted or how many people would be staying. It didn’t seem like they were very interested in working, so we’ll make things easier for everyone and look elsewhere. Thanks, and sorry for disturbing your laziness.
