Casa dei Nonni

The host's manner was the worst part. He was rude, unwelcoming, and unavailable when we raised concerns, blaming us for the shower damage instead of looking into it properly or offering a solution. The showerhead had come away from the wall, so using the shower was very uncomfortable. We also found the towel warmer dusty, which was disappointing given the cleaning fee. The room was stiflingly hot, and the plastic cover beneath the mattress made sleeping very uncomfortable. There wasn't even hand soap when we arrived. When we asked, the host said they don't provide personal hygiene products. That's hard to understand when booking platforms list essentials such as soap. We booked directly with the owner and found the standards didn't match what was advertised online. The stay was a clear disappointment, and I can't recommend this place or imagine returning.
